The liturgy of the Mass
The liturgy of the Mass, furthermore, is the ultimate expression of the religion, and not its fundamental expression. By this I mean that you are not going to convert people back to Roman Catholicism merely by means of the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM). They must be first converted away from Vatican II and converted to Catholicism. Only then does the TLM make sense. You need a rose bush in order to produce a rose. You need a true Catholic before he can appreciate the TLM. Otherwise you end up like the High Church Anglicans: pretty vestments and fragrant incense in a context of protestantism. That is doomed to failure, since it has no substance.
